For more than Two Decades STELMEC has been a name synonymous with Electrical Power Products in India and has been a trusted partner to various State Owned Power Utilities as well as Private Power Utilities in India.
We are driven by Continuous Innovation and have invested substantial amount of resources in Research & Development. Our Engineers groomed in an environment of Innovation & Research have been successful in indigenously developing products that have delivered exceptional operational performance in diverse climatic conditions of India.
In addition to our existing Power Product range, we have strengthened our presence in the Power Sector by foraying into two more verticals viz. ENGINEERING PROCUREMENT CONSTRUCTION (EPC) SERVICES and in SMART GRID & POWER IT SOLUTIONS (PROJECTS IN AMI/ AMR & SCADA).
Having a Corporate Office at Bandra, Mumbai, we have strength of 800+ employees located at three Strategic Business Units, One in Ahmedabad (Gujarat) and Two on the outskirts of Mumbai (Maharashtra) and a PAN INDIA Marketing and Customer Care Centres.

Our Journey
Incorporated the Engineering , Procurement & Construction (EPC) division to cater to T&D projects. Executed technologically challenging projects like HV GIS Substations, Digital Substations, STATCOM Substations etc. since its inception.
2015
Achieved Position of Market Leadership in the MV Switchgear (AIS) segment by indigenously developed VCB & Panels.
2010
Entered into a JV with Landis & Gear Switzerland for Energy Metering Solutions achieving position of market leadership in States present.
1995
Designed and supplied our own Stelmec Brand Electro-Mechanical Energy Meters.
1995
Launched our own brand “SAFELINE” MCB’s under License from F&G (Felten & Guilleaume) – Germany (Now Eaton) and MCCB’s under License from Koncar – Croatia.
1990
Market Leader for LT Distribution Panels and Metering Panels in the Western Region Utilities.

Started as a manufacturer of Conventional LV Switchgear – Rewirable Kit Kat Fuses & ICTP (Iron Clad Triple Pole) Switch.

I thank you for visiting our website which must have given you a broad insight into our organisation’s salient features, product profile, our accomplishments and our Mission and Vision.
I am pleased to share with you that since our inception we have focussed on our marketing strengths with a strategic focus on being able partners to the Power utilities in the country and have registered a steady and consistent growth in our operations.
Our Company has reported growth through improved efficiencies, economies of scale and strategic decisions of providing effective application based product solutions to our customers.
I am proud to say that we at STELMEC have been consistently investing in technology & resources to enhance the efficiency at our operation levels so that we can pass the benefit of our engineering and quality endeavours to our customers. Our constant endeavour is to reduce overall costs of production while continuing to offer the consumers the highest quality products.
With India reaching significant heights in the global economy, we are optimistic of enhancing our growing presence in the power sector in India as the Government is expected to invest substantially in the power sector. We have strategically added EPC and Power IT Solution divisions which shall support us in participating more aggressively in the emerging power sector scenario in India.
We are now set to expand our boundaries by registering our presence in the overseas market and have planned to promote our products to foreign shores driving us to new heights of growth globally.
Our business philosophy based on delivering value to our stakeholders constantly inspires our people to innovate, excel and set new global bench marks. Our multi-cultural work force gives us strength and provides quality products and services to the growing power sector in the country. Our great team has stood up to every challenge presented to them. They have adhered to our thoughts and plans very effectively. Our Pan India operations are covered through our Front End Branch Sales Offices and Customer Care Centres all over India. Through these outlets we offer close customer contacts and Prompt After-Sales Services.
